The purpose of this phased remodelling of a waterside centre was to improve a failing second level and transform the generally tired appearance of a centre that was under performing. We cut away sections of the existing structure to create a new double-height entrance mall and introduced a new escalator core to improve circulation around the two ends of the project and reinforce flows to the historically weaker back malls.
