This masterplan for part of the Old Kent Road AAP was produced  in response to new development guidelines published by the municipality in anticipation of the new underground extension planned for 2025.  A culverted canal was opened up and generous public space run alongside it to form a spine with active ground floor uses that linked through to adjacent parks.   High density housing then comfortably sat above it.
