Val Thoiry is a successful hypermarket-anchored shopping centre well located just outside Geneva. The refurbishment proposals focus on improving customer facilities: new entrances, finishes and lighting together with a restructuring of the main public space allow double-height presentation for all the retailers. The extension, which includes the strategic relocation of Leroy Merlin to an adjoining site, will allow improved parking and shopping facilities to be introduced together with a new promotional area. A series of restaurant pavilions are introduced along the south-facing elevation.
